Concept Design

This architectural renovation project involves demolishing and reconstructing the access staircase located on the facade, in order to improve accessibility and supply of natural light to the internal environment. At the same time it is planned to shield the existing staircase by creating an urban scenography that totally re-designs the expressiveness of the building. A portal serves to structurally support the staircase, while becoming a pergola and generating an accessible shaded roof-top, to which is included  a jacuzzi. Some changes in material and colors finish re-design the architectural figuration of the building without increasing the volume or increase costs of intervention.

The interiors are completely revised in terms of finishes and a new bathroom is also inserted in the master bedroom. The internal architecture seeks simplicity of lines and materials, taking up the design solutions adopted for the exteriors.
